The bright, fresh, single varietal Tierras Guindas wines utilize D.O. specific fruit (Toro, Ribera del Duero, Rueda), all from Bodegas Frontaura vineyards. The winery's cutting edge winemaking facility, designed by lauded Spanish architect Carlos Ferrater, is located outside of the historic town of Toro, Spain. The winery combines traditional gravity-flow methods of production with forward thinking practices including real-time weather monitoring of all their D.O. properties to allow them to best manage vineyard practices. All wines are made from native clones only.
A centuries old winemaking production steeped in tradition, the Bodegas Frontaura winery was purchased in 1996 by husband and wife duo Ulpiano Gonzalez and Camino Pardo.
